I developed a massive perfume obsession during my 15 years in the perfume industry: I have either worn, sniffed, sold, written about, trained, evaluated, or marketed fragrance every day throughout that time. I am passionate about helping people develop vocabulary for scent and discover the incredible, fascinating world of olfaction.
I’m available on a freelance basis to develop and evaluate fine and home fragrances, as well as developing story telling and providing training with a retail focus, with a strong background knowledge of the industry at the heart of what I do.
I was Cosmopolitan magazine’s Beauty and Fragrance Awards 2013 Fragrance Expert.
I’m a regular contributor to Basenotes.net – the best fragrance resource website out there, with a community of fragrance lovers and reviewers from all over the world.
I’ve been quoted in national press, shortlisted for a Jasmine Award for my editorial, hosted three Perfume Lovers London events, held crossmodal scent workshops for designers, and run FragrantReviews, a Twitter fragrance review project (in collaboration with my scented partner-in-crime Thomas of The Candy Perfume Boy.)
Currently, I’m working on several exciting projects with clients: developing personal and home fragrances, copy-writing and creative content related to perfumery.
I was previously at Penhaligon’s and L’Artisan Parfumeur as their Fragrance Ambassador, an in-house expert providing copy, content, storytelling, training and developing events and workshops at the brands – as well as working in marketing and fragrance development.
